Research into complexity, systems theory, and sustainability

At Exploratorio, we develop frameworks and methodologies for transformation toward more prosperous and healthy paradigms.

The first challenge is to articulate a conceptual framework that defines what we call a healthy system, given that we still do not understand the complex network of processes, mutual needs, and balances that exist between the biosphere and humanity. This disconnect leads to a loss of perspective on the ethics demanded by the times in which we live.

This type of search can only be approached as a network. For this reason, we have launched a collaboration with the Ecological Humanities Group (GHECO) at the Autonomous University of Madrid, a pioneering research network in studies on the transition to more prosperous models with a profound eco-social and interdisciplinary perspective.

The collaboration aims to advance our understanding of the complex system of needs and relationships between ecosystems, living beings, people, and material resources.
